This Privacy Policy describes how TokModel4Youth ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application TokModel4Youth (the "App") distributed via Google Play. It is intended to satisfy the disclosure requirements for Google Play's User Data and Data safety sections.
1. Data Safety & Disclosures
Data Collection: This App collects user data as described below in Section 3.
Data Sharing: This App shares user data only with service providers and as required by law (see Section 5).
Encryption: Data in transit is protected with industry-standard TLS encryption.
Deletion: Users may request deletion of their account and associated data (see Section 7).
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that is necessary for the App's core functionality, to provide and improve the service, and to comply with legal obligations.
2.1. Information You Provide Directly
Account Information: When you register or authenticate, we collect your email address, display name, and any profile information you provide.
User-Generated Content: Videos, thumbnails, captions, and other media you upload to the App.
2.2. Information Collected Automatically
Device & Technical Information: Device identifiers (Android ID), IP address, device model, operating system version, crash reports and diagnostic data.
App Usage Information: Usage patterns, feature usage, and session duration to help improve the App.
Location: We do not collect precise location by default. If location is required for a specific feature, we will request your explicit consent and disclose the purpose.
2.3. Information from Third-Party SDKs
The App uses the following third-party SDKs which may collect or process user data:
Firebase (Firebase Core, Auth, Firestore, Storage): Used for authentication, database, storage, and crash reporting. Data collected may include device identifiers, crash logs, authentication identifiers, and usage data. See Firebase's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Other packages used in the app: `video_player`, `video_compress`, `image_picker`. These packages provide media playback, compression and image selection; they do not independently collect user personal data beyond the media you choose to upload or the device metadata described above.
3. How We Use Your Information
Core Functionality: To operate the App (authenticate users, upload and serve videos, and manage user profiles).
Analytics & Improvement: To analyze usage, diagnose issues, and improve features.
Security & Legal: To prevent abuse, enforce our terms, and comply with legal requests.
Communications: To send important account or service messages.
4. How We Share Your Information
Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g., Firebase). They are contractually restricted from using data for other purposes.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations or to protect rights and safety.
Business Transfers: If the App is sold or merged, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction; the acquirer must honor this policy.
5. Advertising & Payments
Advertising: This App does not display ads and does not integrate advertising SDKs (e.g., AdMob) by default.
Payments: The App does not directly process payment card data. If in-app purchases are offered, they use Google Play Billing and Google handles payment information. (No billing SDK is present in the current project dependencies.)
6. Data Storage, Retention & Security
Storage: User-generated content (videos, images) and account data are stored in Firebase Storage and Firestore as configured in the App.
Retention: We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide services or as required by law. When you delete your account, we will remove or anonymize associated personal data within a reasonable time (for example, within 90 days), subject to backups and legal holds.
Security: We use standard security measures (encryption in transit, access controls) and review our systems regularly.
7. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You may access, update, or request deletion of your personal data.

8. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if we learn of such collection, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We will post the updated policy in the App and on our Google Play store listing. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
